These notes are sparse because they are reconstructed from memory.
Size: 9x12, with 2" borders. The paper is Aquarelle Arches, 140 lb
hot press, acid-free.
Scribe:
François Thibault, January XXXIV. My eighth scroll.
Calligraphy:
Hand: French Batarde (Drogin). 0.75 mm Brause nib (not sure how
big for the initial capital; probably 2).
Line spacing: unknown.
Ink: W&N Black Indian Ink.
Illumination
Paints: W&N Gouaches. I do not recall the actual colors used in
this case.
Gold leaf: 23 3/4 K XX deep gold, a patent leaf from
Italy. Unfortunately, it did not scan very well.
