There's obviously lots to do in the Bay Area.  Some ideas: 
 
  • San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf
  • Muir Woods
  • Golden Gate Park
  • Renting paddleboats at Shoreline Park
  • Walks up in the hills overlooking the Pacific (see right).
  • Lots of cool museums

    • ...other stuff...
     
    You'll also be wanting to know the weather, of course.  It should be fairly warm--shirtsleeves in the day, sweaters or light jackets at night.  Probably some rain; it'll be getting into the rainy season, I think.  But don't go by me; I've only lived here a year, and they say this winter's supposed to be really mild, due to El Niño.  Here's some links you can use to check:
