Hotel Directions
Most or all of our out-of-town guests are staying at the Woodcrest, so
that's where we'll give you directions for. :-)
From San Jose Airport:

Exit the airport, following signs for US101.

Take 101 north to Lawrence Expressway (and don't be surprised if you're
not actually facing north; 101's north-south orientation is pretty fictional
at times :-).

Turn left onto Lawrence Expressway (which is south, even though it's only
90 degrees from 101 North :-).

Follow Lawrence for a long time. When you pass Pruneridge (there'll
be a Chevron station on the corner), make sure you're in the right-hand
lane. There'll be an exit for Stevens Creek; take it.

Turn right onto Stevens Creek.

The overpass you'll go under almost immediately is Interstate 280; the
first driveway on your right after 280 is for two hotels, the Howard Johnson
and the Woodcrest. You'll probably be able to tell them apart.

From San Francisco Airport:

Exit the airport, following signs for Interstate 280 (you may have to take
380 to get to 280; I forget; but there is a sign saying "To 280").

Take 280 south. Go a long way--most of an hour, at least. When
you pass Highway 85, start getting into the right-hand lane.

Take the exit for Stevens Creek and Lawrence Expressway.

Turn right onto Stevens Creek. The first driveway on your right is
for two hotels, the Howard Johnson and the Woodcrest. You'll probably
be able to tell them apart. ;-)
